Long Tones
This is a straight-forward long tones warm-up. Start on Concert F and descend by half steps to Concert Bb. Then a quick turn-around, back to Concert F and ascend by half-steps to Bb. Just another way to keep it interesting when practicing long tones. Also, this can be a great one to emphasize relaxation to young musicians.

LoFi Improv
|
This is a chill way to practice some improv. It also falls into my concept of "limited" improv. It gives a few notes to focus on for each chord. This can help with young players to learn to improvise more confidently. Don't worry about complicated jazz licks (yet). Just focus on small bits and make them sound good and music. You don't have to spew a million notes to make a great solo.
