Concert Band Compositions
Below you will find concert band compositions divided by level. I've chosen not to give them a "grade" because of the variation in place to place. Take a look at the score and decide if it's right for your group.
The Adaptable Quintet Project
I think the best thing that ever happened to my trombone playing was my lessons teacher playing a new duet with me every week. Of all the things in my musical development, I am convinced that playing these duets made all the difference. Thus, I am on a mission to make accessible chamber music for everyone. They can be educational, for entertainment, or just to have fun playing music. The duets and quartets below are just the beginning...
The Adaptable Quintet Project
The Adaptable Quintet Project is an idea I've been developing for a while. These are a variety of tunes (classical arrangements, folk songs, etc) that are meant to be easily adaptable to varying instrumentations and groups. Each tune is five parts - basically SSATB - with optional percussion. My idea is that five musicians could be standing on a street corner/atrium of an auditorium OR a full ensemble can play them for a concert (as a flex-band type model).
Marching Band Music
The marching band section will primarily (for now) be focused on parade and stands tunes for your band to perform and entertain.
Chamber Music
Differing from the "Adaptable Quintet Project," this music will be focused on smaller and different combinations of music. Duets, trios, and other chamber ensembles can be found here.
