THANK YOU!
As a small thank you for welcoming me to your conference, I'd like to share an advance copy of the first level of a new resource I'm currently developing: The Reading Room – Building Ensemble Literacy Through Daily Reading. This collection is designed to make sight-reading and music literacy a natural part of the daily rehearsal routine through short, full-band exercises that can be inserted directly into almost any rehearsal. The exercises are intentionally scaffolded, introducing one new concept at a time while reinforcing skills students already know. The goal is simple: help students become stronger readers and more confident musicians through consistent, purposeful exposure to new music. I hope you find it useful, and I look forward to continuing the conversation long after the clinic concludes.
To receive your complimentary advance copy, simply complete the Google Form linked below. Because the resource is still in development, I am individually licensing each copy and adding a personalized ownership stamp before distribution. Once your information is submitted, I'll send your copy directly to the email address you provide. Note: If you teach high school and this first level is of little use to you, you can either give a copy to your feeder school, or I'll let you have a copy of my "50 Progressive Etudes for Band or Individual Study," designed for more advanced musicians.

Continuing the Conversation
The clinic may be ending, but the conversation doesn't have to. The Workshop is an evolving collection of resources, examples, videos, and teaching ideas designed to expand on the concepts discussed in today's session. My hope is that these materials provide practical, classroom-ready strategies that you can adapt to your own students, program, and teaching style.
