Beethoven Long Tones
score & parts
Chromatic Long Tones
This long tones set takes us chromatically descending from F down to Bb, then ascending from F up to Bb. Very simple and easy to memorize. Great for full ensemble if you have a loud enough sound system, but also great for individuals. Turn up the speakers and practice playing with a steady, beautiful tone.

Cinematic Long Tones - Descending Half Steps
Here's a fun way to practice long tones a bit differently. The following music track uses the Remington Long Tones sequence, but takes you though a "cinematic" journey while playing (aurally speaking). What started as a "what if I tried this" moment, acutally turned out to work pretty well. These can be done with individuals or groups or even a full ensemble. This gives a great new way to work on some of the basics: air/breath, tone, intonation, pulse, etc. Enjoy!

New - Orchestrated Chords
Note: I would recommend copying the top file on the front page and the bottom file on the back. The orchestrated chords are not necessarily designed to be a great warm-up... just an extra fun thing to do.
