Foundation Set 2 focuses on the first seven notes typically introduced in most method books: Ti, Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La.
Brass, woodwinds, and mallets use quarter, half, whole, and tied double whole notes,
while the snare part adds eighth notes to that same basic rhythmic vocabulary.

Preparatory Exercises
Set #2 is still more “preparatory exercises” than traditional warm-ups. Set #2 adds a note to each end of the range (Concert A and Concert G), while adding more techniques for the snare drum. They continue establishing a framework of basic musical patterns,
