Using only the first (typical) notes learned when accents are introduced, this resource explores utilizing accents vs. non-accents (standard articulation). The first exercises just focus on single pitches. Progressing through the rest introduces changing pitches and more musical phrases. The idea here is to reinforce sight->response from young musicians.
My recommendation would be to supplement your method book when you get ot accents. OR use this as a review. It can be a great chance to review this concept with advanced players. |
